Rebuilding my old Alcosa Forge
« on: September 21, 2019, 12:47:37 PM »
In the eighties, when we regularly attended auctions, I bought this forge VERY cheap, ex school, and the throat plate was rotted out, but it was complete, and had potential, and then I stored it away in a damp shed to wait for the day of ressurection, and suddenly, it happened!

Like accepted the old fashioned way! Thank you Andrew, there will be more slideshows, as I have just started making videos for the tube with a gopro, and realised that some of my more interesting rebuilds were only documented in stills, so if everyone is ok with it, I will post the links up here in the same way. As soon as I have had a good tidy up, I will be doing a workshop tour video!
