Hi Again Looks like I have sorted it, the fat end is 1.07 inch and the thin end 0.900 inches. Not very scientific but looking where the taper starts and finishes (the taper is actually very shallow and is possible to make a realistic guestimation) Given the centre section is marked Firth Speedicut as in Firth Brown, I think it is Brown and Sharpe taper no 9 Link to table https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine_taper#Brown_&_Sharpe Phil |
