Hi The Motor is 1.25 hp 180 volt DC with the AMP meter a ((+ 10 0 - 10)) unit fitted to ONE Motor Positive Lead so reads Amperage in Reverse or Forwards. works out @ 900 Watts / 180 Volts = 5 Amps. The speed controller is a Minarik AC 230 volts To 180 volts DC converter with Quadrant 4 Braking and Reverse on A Much Modified X2 Mill Drill. Eric |

Thats great with a 1.25hp motor ...but Im guessing standard 500 watt dc motor will struggle unless I take the dust off the part with the cutter ! |
