There's a lot to be said about replacing the solid belts with linked belt like this:https://www.durabelt.com/linkedvbeltinfo.php The linked belts are better damped so vibrate less than a normal V belt . Notched (timing) belts can be noisy . |

Got the belts and changed them, sounds whole lot better and smoother. Got those: XPA 882 and XPA 1030 Optibelt Super X-Power belts, they are not exactly the same nominal size, althogether nominally about 8 mm longer. They are easier to change speeds than original. Have to see if I need to change one shorter when they start to wear. So far looks good. Pekka |
