Hi from the Shire of Warwick
« on: March 29, 2018, 01:28:07 PM »
Hi all,

Sadly I do not currently possess any workshop or machinery (although the plan is there for the future) so until this happens I have to resort to grabbing 10 minutes here and there at work in the toolroom to quench my thirst for fabbing or asking others to make parts for me...

On that note where would be a good place to request a couple of very small pieces of cutting/machining/threading from a user on this forum ?

Many thanks

Jody

Hello and welcome - best of luck with setting up your workshop - an exciting time - I started with an 8x6 garden shed and now have a bit more than that

There is a request section here that is probably best for asking for bits to be made

Wellcome.

Be carefull with your workshop plans...it migh come true.

I have a garage, which felt HUGE, but three crappy lathes, one 1,5 ton milling machine, metal cuting band saw, one ton TCG, some welding stuff and big garage size storage self later the space disappears....

Because winters here are cold and long (got last weekend 20 cm of snow...probably you are no stranger for that white stuff) I was designated a spare bedroom to keep me under HER eyes.....it's pretty full too. Should really empty it for a month, because we are getting a relatives to visit, but wondering where on earth I can storage all those thrasures!
