Yeah, my work laptop doesn't like it at all!
My phone, however, isn't as picky.
Interesting!

Hi all!

No, I'm not the one normaly translating foreign language forum entries to English (I think the original poster can use Google translator as well, which would be fair to the other users), but this time is an exception, since I have the same question:

"Ciao Ho provato a registrarmi sul forum dd ma mi chiede un codice di invito che cos' è?" means somethink like

I tried to Register on that Forum but Registration requires an Invitation code. Where can I get one?

So, anbody willing to invite me?

Hi there!

after some changes of their web site, the DDCSV forum seems to be "passed away" finaly :doh:. Has anybody an idea about the future of that forum or has anybody backups of the entries done there about DDCSV?

In silent mourning

Hi!
Contacted Lollette shop on Ali about the status of Dosedone support/dropout of the product. Received an answer: "just wait, now they upgrade website."
Though that's not the most reliable source of info, unfortunatelly.

Copied the coversation on tool change if someone is interested:

The user can write T.nc according to the actual demand and copy it to the system directory (/mnt/nand1-1/) to complete the extension definition of tool change instruction M6.

Example 1: Manual tool change while encountering M6 command in machining, T.nc is implemented as follows:

G04P-1; external pause

Example 2: Automatic Tool Changer, T.nc achieved as follows:

#1=105; In-line magazine first knife X position, set according to the actual situation
#2=50; The distance between each knife in the row magazine is set according to the actual situation
M05; Close the spindle

(The following is the retraction process)
IF [#592 <1] GOTO1; 592 variables for the current folder tool number, if less than 1, the description is empty knife, skip the retraction process, enter the folder knife process
G53 G00 G90 X[#1+[#592-1]*#2] Y2500 Z-126; Rapid traverse to the machine coordinate tool gate
G04 P5000; Pause until the spindle is completely stopped
G53 G00 G90 X[#1+[#592-1]*#2] Y2550 Z-126; Enter tool magazine
G04 P500; Pause to the holder on the holder
M08; Open the spindle tool change pneumatic valve
G04 P500; pause 0.5 seconds
G53 G00 G90 Z-20; raise the spindle
M09; Close the spindle tool change pneumatic valve
GOTO2

N1 G04 P5000; Pause until the spindle stops completely

(The following is the folder knife process)
N2 G53 G00 G90 X[#1+[#593-1]*#2] Y2500 Z-126; Rapid traverse to the machine coordinate tool gate
G53 G00 G90 X[#1+[#593-1]*#2] Y2550 Z-126; Enter tool magazine
G04 P500; Pause to the holder on the holder
M08; Open the spindle tool change pneumatic valve
G04 P500; pause 0.5 seconds
G53 G00 G90 Z-20; raise the spindle
M09; Close the spindle tool change pneumatic valve

G04P0; Synchronization
#592=#593; After the tool change is completed, the current tool number will be updated

Related instructions:
The #593 parameter is used to receive the tool number to be replaced. If the T3M6 instruction is executed, the system assigns 3 to #593.
#592 The parameter is the number of the currently used tool. When it is 0, it indicates that the tool is not currently installed.

-----------------

Hello ytliu,

It looks like command "G04P-1" does not work correctly (even with latest firmware).
I noticed that parameter P-1 is not recognised correctly and the program does not stop (I supose "-1" means that it should wait for infinity).
For other vaules of P (like P100) it works correctly.
But I think command "M0" can be used instead.

Regards
Lukasz

-------------------

Sorry, there was a problem with the previous statement.
If the G04P-1 or M0 command appears in the program header, it will be ignored, so the question you said will appear.
T.nc can be written like this
M5
G04P-1
or
M5
M0
In this way, when executing M6, the spindle will be shut down first, and then the program will be suspended. When the start key is pressed again, the program will continue to execute.

====================================

Also on parameters:

DDCSV macro variable Description:

#0- #49 for each subroutine internal private variables;
#50- #499 is the system internal variable area 1;
#500- #999 is the system parameter area;
#1000- #1999 is the system internal variable area 2;

The chs or eng file defines the system parameters that the user needs to configure, for example:

#1 -t2 -s1 "language setting" -m16 -min = 0.000 -max = 1.000 -i0 "Eng" -i1 "Chinese"

#n n is the parameter number (0-499), n + 500 is the macro variable number of this parameter;
-t is used to specify the type of parameter, t0 is an integer, t1 is a real number, and t2 is a selection type.
-s1 defines the name of the parameter;
-s2 defines the parameter unit;
-m parameter group, m0 that the parameters in the parameter configuration page does not show;
-min minimum parameter
-max maximum parameter
-i The text of the relevant entry is configured through it when the parameter type is selection type;

DDCSV Coordinate System Description:

The coordinate systems in DDCSV system include machine coordinate system, G53 coordinate system and G54-G59 coordinate system.

The machine coordinate system is established by home operation or zero under MACH. Read # 864- # 867 (X, Y, Z, A) to find the position of the tool in the machine coordinate system.

G53 is based on the machine coordinate system. # 800- # 803 (X, Y, Z, A) describes the distance from the origin of the G53 coordinate system to the origin of the machine coordinate system. Adjusting these parameters can reconstruct the G53 coordinate system. Read # 868- # 871 (X, Y, Z, A) to find the position of the tool in the G53 coordinate system.

The G54-G59 coordinate system is based on the G53 coordinate system. # 804- # 807 (G54 X, Y, Z, A), # 808- # 811 (G55 X, Y, Z, A), # 812- # 815 (G58 X, Y, Z, A), # 816- # 819 (G57 X, Y, Z, A), # 820- # 823 G54 X, Y, Z, A) respectively describe the distance from the origin of G54-G59 coordinate system to the origin of G53 coordinate system, and adjust these parameters to reconstruct the G54-G59

coordinate system; Read #840-#843(G54 X?Y?Z?A)?#844-#847(G55 X?Y?Z?A)?#848-#851(G56 X?Y?Z?A)?#852-#855(G57 X?Y?Z?A)?#856-#859(G58 X?Y?Z?A)?#860-#863(G59 X?Y?Z?A)to find the position of the tool in the G54-G59 coordinate system.

#516 describes the system currently working coordinate system, 0 corresponds to the G53 coordinate system, 1-6 corresponds to the G54-G59 coordinate system, 7 corresponds to the machine coordinate system.

And, of course, got the 2018-04-12-93 build (latest one being published there), but as ytliu from the support forum haven't specified what changed there, I don't know if it is interesting to someone.
File comparison got minor updates in probe.nc and some byte changes in motion.out (so some internal logic was changed as well probably).

Installed for the test, it works, found some minor UI glitch (value entry string shows during the programm execution), but that's all.
ytliu sent this build as a response to the problems of some customer who need to restore the controller to original state, so updating to this build should reset all settings to defaults. Probably it was the only change :)
