To build this bike without plans I need to start with the engine and a set of wheels. I have the engine so what to do about the wheel. I could buy some but I can't find some I like. I built some for the last bike but they had no drop center and it was tough installing the tires so I have decided to try to make some dies and try to form a drop center in a piece of 2-1/2-1/8 Chanel and then roll it to the radius I need. After making three sets of dies I Finally made some that I think will work. Here are some pictures of the process |
