I'm guessing any runout in the first 3 chucks can be addressed by the penultimate 4-jaw chuck, thus reducing TIR to something manageable. :headbang:

It's really good for resonance. Where as I used to get a poor finish at certain speeds and diameters. Now it's a crap finish at all speeds.

If the drill chuck is too small to grip in the big three-jaw, wouldn't it be better to just wrap it in gaffer tape? :coffee:
