As of 01 January of this year, I am officially retired... so had to time for a quick trip to London.  Went to a recital at St Martin in the Fields, saw Les Mis at the Queen's Theater, and spent most of Sunday at the Ally Pally for the exhibition... bought some books, a few bits of tooling, a couple of spare flywheels (and, keeping peace in the family, brought back some Jaffa cakes for my son's girlfriend).

I was there Saterday not as many stands a last year and a lot more clubs, I think it's going the same way as Sandown Park .

Trouble is that they keep putting the stand fees up - they don't seem to understand that it's a law of diminishing returns.
