A nice find Bill, think i you would really need to have a lot of use it to decide to make one. I would keep forgetting how to set it up. well made tool and a good video. John |

Awesome home-made tool but I'd be disappointed with the finish on that radius. I love the ingenuity of the fine-feed though I can't figure out how they got one tooth different on two gears with the same PCD. |

The finish might have been better with a slower rpm (less vibration) and hss tooling. Cutting a gear with an extra tooth is not too difficult, just adjust addenum slightly to get the smaller pcd ( i made a 61t gear to replace a 60t for metric threads this way) Bill |
