welcome as someone who ( with sons encouragement ) is considering a road tax free landrover for fun, Would a 71 qualify I wonder? |

A '71 vehicle qualifies for free road tax (the historic vehicle thing now rolls on each year - for vehicles 40 years old ) I should warn you that getting a Land Rover is similar to getting a dose of Herpes - once you have got the bug you can't get rid of it !!! |

Thanks for the warning. A friend had Hermes ( she's a carrier I believe!) :thumbup: The only thing putting me off is the number of projects currently on the go, and the fact the damn thing only did 20mpg ( mind you it didn't matter what I towed or where, it did 20mpg!) :smart: Also the small matter of half the garage being occupied until further notice by it. Currently it's on the "nice to do list", We shall see. Ian |
