I made a pulse jet many years ago from the free plans that came in one of the Model magazines i think it was Aero modeller late 60's Dad and i, forgot the model was Balsa wood and the fixing straps got hotter and hotter :doh: |

I recall a Corporal Henwood who was in the Royal Air Force making a pulse jet long before this. I was at school and guess that it was about 1945 or 46. I saw a captured V1around that time. The article was definitely in the Aeromodeller and I made one up. I recall that it had a reheat of sorts and it was not until I was also a corporal myself in 1949 that I saw reheats on Meteor 8's at Farnborough Air Show. Where did the time go since? Norm |
