Well thought out storage etc. is the secret to working in a compact space.

Roger B:
Thank you all

Lyn, my engines are here: http://madmodder.net/index.php/topic,11831.0.html

Roger,

Very nice.

You put me to shame. I've acres of space in my cellar workshop and it's still a tip. I wouldn't dare post pictures of mine.

I'm always getting in trouble for bringing swarf into the house.  :(

The nice thing is I have access from the house as well as from outside.

Phil.

I wonder if it is some kind of character flaw that allows us Brits (and it seems to be mostly Brits, with a few American exceptions) to mog along knee deep in muck and discarded bits of machinery.

I can't even keep my desk clear for more than a few days.

Dave.

Thank you Roger, very nice. I must try to find some plans  :coffee: of an easy to build engine, i must start soon before the eyes get any worse.
I would love to be able to do a multi cylinder motor but i do not think i have the ability to make the crank and cam shafts..
Lyn.
