Thank you all. Yes Rob that's a Hobbymat. I started out with an Einhell minilathe and then moved onto the Hobbymat with the BFE milling head. I have hopefully managed to add some videos of them running: This is my first engine driving a small generator. The crankshaft doesn't have balance weights so it is a bit lively. This is the vertical engine running with coil ignition. I have now changed it back to the originaly planned CDI unit. This is the horizontal engine running with mechanical fuel injection. The carb is just being used as a throttle. There is another carb hanging over the back of the fuel tank that I used to warm the engine up before fitting the injection manifold. |

Very nice,Roger. I'm always interested and impressed with the many varied projects that appear on this forum,but I have to confess I have a particular liking for homemade model engines whatever they're powered by.....OZ. |
