I just have not had time nor the interest in the project ,one day I will get back on with it .
Why not go for a used industrial machine ?

It was a year old when I got it Andrew , and the old bloke sadly died a few months after getting it . The screw nut is as fit from new ,just very poor quality . but at the time they where £1400 new ,so at the end of the day what can one expects for that sort of money .

Slotting head and HZ quill adaptor , then wile down country I popped into Arceurotrade for a 6 inch machine vice and a wee bit R8 tooling ,the lad there makes a cracking cup of tea :thumbup: , then on the way back I swung buy Joules house to drop off the X,Y thing and have bit crack , his lass also makes a canny brew :coffee:
Suppose I better put my Boxford shaper and Lathe up for sale ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,groan ,let battle begin :lol:
