I don't believe it!

I have just spent the last fifteen minutes writing a post saying how frustrated I have been today due to the poor quality drills and hacksaw blades that I have recently bought. I finished my post saying how much better I felt having got it off my chest. As I was about to post it my finger caught on the wrong button on the keyboard and deleted the whole lot. Now I feel worse!!!!! :bang:

I know your pain. Nowadays I tend to select the whole post and copy it to the clipboard whenever i'm writing something big. There's alot of things that can just eat a post like page timing out, accidentally closing the tab/ window, or the browser crashing.

Yes I've been there myself  :bang:

Some forums have an auto save function, I don't know if that is possible with the software this forum runs on - perhaps Eric can comment

Likewise, I feel your frustration...
I'm tending to write my response in notes on  my ipad, then copy into a thread...
Although this being so short doesnt relly need to be pre written......arrgghhhhhh nearly lost the lot...
