Good morning from the southeast USA. South Carolina to be more specific. In case anyone is interested our weather today is projected to have temperatures of 87 F,1 C and sunny.
I am a semi-retired old wet fingered dentist. I still work two and one half days a week. I am 73 years old I notice that people in my age group are dying at a pretty steady rate, since I may need to give up something in order to have more time it may be work.
I have several interests that include golf, fishing shooting,reloading my own ammo, and metal working. Metal working is my latest interest and the one that I know least about.
I have an old Sheldon 11x56 tool room lathe circa 1940, a 602 Excello Mill circa 1989 and a couple of other items including welders. I am pretty much lost with all of them.
I will spend a lot of time on this forum trying to learn from those who know what they are about.

I'm sure that being a a dentist you must already have the practical skills to pick up metalworking easily. If not, it's good to know you have easy access to anaesthetic :D
