got to admit I painted mine with floor paint , then hid it under old carpet. What the eye can't see the heart don't get upset about....

The old carpet is great at saving, or at least cushioning, dropped tools and saving sharp edges being damaged.

It also keeps me tootsies warm and is comfortable. Sometimes it even stops screws etc flying off under the bench ( only sometimes mind you !)
