I needed to make some metric M6 -1.00 screws for my SINAR Clamp Set Unit
as none easily available here in the Colonies. My old Atlas 618 ... no longer
run by water wheel now that electric motors have been discovered ... is
has an Imperial lead screw of 16 TPI.
Tables in the long forgotten "Threading Information" gem gave me the proper
transpose gear pair ... 44/52 and the proper combinations for cutting the 1.00 mm pitch.
Three of the mm threads would require a M6-735 extension bracket which seems
non-existent. Any there over the 'pond'?
Of note, in the back of the manual are tables for gear set ups to turn springs on the lathe.
