Doncaster Model Engineering Show 2016 (20-22nd May)

Thought I would put this up for those that may not have seen.  Harrogate has relocated to Doncaster race course ?   At least we should be able to buy some cheap glue this year, and the burgers will be fit

I'm going.
I will be there for the whole 3 days with a small stand supplied by the organisers and will be taking a couple of end mill grinders and a drill grinder.
People are welcome to bring cutters for sharpening but it will only do the ends, no flutes and go from 3mm to 20mm in HSS and carbide.
2 flute, 3 flute or 4 flute, no charge but there will be a charity box supplied by the organisers.

The drill grinder will do 3mm up to 20mm parallel shank or taper shank, again HSS or carbide.

Having said this the first 5 Herberts will roll up with 6 flute cutters and want the flutes grinding.

Its my 36th wedding anniversary on the preceding Tuesday and its 'er-Indoors' birthday on the Saturday, so a big celeb weekend for us...Not sure what we are going to do yet....but it wont involve machinery or workshops... :med:

That's fine, they have boats, trains and planes.  What could be more romantic than a day at the races.   :poke:

Yeah?  Whereabouts?  If you're in the Barcelona area, I'd love an opportunity to meet you, and perhaps show off some of the local sights.

Should you need any information, just send me a pm.

Still undecided  :loco:  What day and how to get there , may get the train down as the racecourse does not look to far away from the rail station  .

Just received a parcel that had a flyer in it for the event  , looks like there will be a good selection trade stands ( if they bother to turn up )  .

Thinking maybe Sunday mmmmmmmmmmmm dun no

Had a good day, cheers to the other Modders I met, didn't manage to get Mr Stephenson's attention, so had to lump round the lathe bed all day UNGROUND I might add !!!

Bought a Sandvik scraper I have been promising to buy for years, picked up this years birthday pressies from family, they just don't know it yet....   No more chocolate...

Oh and finally one of Windy Miller drooling over a new toy.  The picture was taken by the BOSS just after I asked if they could gift wrap it.
