Not only that, but by parting off upside down the chips fall out of the cut instead of piling up on top of the tool and generating more heat. That is a 9/16" diameter piece of 4140 I am cutting. The parting tool measures .04" and the parts coming off are cool enough to hold. Did I mention I am cutting dry?  :dremel:
