Two little rainy day projects. |

websterz:
I finally got tired of fumbling with a mag base for my lathe. Getting an indicator to stay put was dang near impossible... Made out of a couple scraps of aluminum and a cam-lock off of my daughters old bicycle seat. The indicator is half of a pair I bought on Ebay for less than $10.00. They are identical 2" travel models and both just needed the lenses popped out and the pointy bits snugged up...good as new! The next project is one I have meant to do for a couple of months but just now got the free time to do it. I drilled and taped my cross slide so I can rear-mount my tool post and part things off upside down. Works a LOT better!! :proj: |

Nice little rainy day projects. I really like that quick disconnect handel for the indicator. Bernd |
