George Konstantinidis:
Hi all, I am helping my brother get a new product on the market but we are having some difficulty finding machine shops in the UK that have whirling capability. I have tried to 4th axis this on the mill but it takes too long to make even 1 and the parts are too small for the rpm of my KRV2000 We have spoken to some far east guys, some german guys but I would personally prefer to have the parts made in the UK for logistic and of course to support the country we live in. So any of you have a whirling head on their slantbed lathe or know of someone that does? |

I dont have one, and am not in the UK, but.. Ask the industrial sales guys who sell whirling tools, for a client of theirs. Usually super helpful, as it helps their sales.. Just an idea. Another option, contact the big second hand machinery dealers. They will know several. |
