Hi Rob Good basic ideas for a belt sander one detail that needs consideration is tracking the abrasive band as the idlers will wear unevenly. The front idler pulley will remove more metal with diagonal slots in the tyre . Suggest that you do not run the abrasive side of the belt on the tyres . keep posting Eric |
