I thought you Guys might like to see this....... A Moriya engine. Came to me in May last year, via the Cosmic Engine Supply system. Said to be some 20 years old, and a veteran, of "100's" of hours, showtime running. It's in lovely condition......... Tall, too........ I rolled up a new wick, from 200 gauge stainless mesh......... It runs very well! Fast, silent, reliable. But, it needed to drive a fan blade. Didn't trust myself to make one. So, I bought a 10" diameter, industrial fridge blade, and made a spinner....... And drive boss....... Looks a bit more purposeful, now....... And the video....... Thanks for looking in! :thumbup: David. |
