How do I... use igaging readers with this DRO (see pic)

Hi all

I used to have all three readers of this DRO on my mill but over time, the readers got messed up by lubricant, swarf etc.  I replaced the X and Y with the Igaging units but left the Y one as it was still in good nick.

Seems a waste of a perfectly good DRO with just the Y axis on it soooo...Can I somehow hack the cables so the Igaging units will work with my DRO? Don't know about protocols and stuff but I can join wires together pretty good.
