question about a Martindale 0.3a standard etcher

So I have the chance to pick up a old etcher a Martindale 0.3a standard etcher serial no 20758 it comes with no instructions and a 4" x 6" pad on one lead and a 1-1/2 "  round string wound grip with a 5/16"  piece of copper in it.
It has a pilot light and 10 different heat settings.
They want $85.00 CANADIAN bucks for it so thats what $64.00 American just to give you a idea.
Does anyone know about said beast? Is it worth picking up?

Is it the sort that etches through a stencil? Seem to remember that you prepare the stencil on a mechanical typewriter that knocks wax off a sheet of permeable material that the electrolyte penetrates.

I'd imagine that the 'heat' settings are voltage / current tweakers

Jonny thanks for this site I missed it last night, it is the Standard one pictured although might be a earlyer version heat selector is at the bottom and it is enclosed in a case. I haven't pluged it in yet I'll go back today but I think I have to go for it I hate kicking myself later.
