Serveta150:
Now then, I'm still trying to overcome my PhotoBUCKET Phobia (including the Askdotcom connection) and have compared it's front page with that of Flickr's - the latter seeming to be much more mature and discerning. My initial date with P/B wasn't too hot, but I wondered if anyone has experience of Flickr and if it is ok for use with this forum? Regards to all, Paul |
PTsideshow:
Flicker here in the states has a limited number of ablums that you can set up with out paying. I started with the bucket back when it was new and so far I haven't had any problems with it. Other then the adobe problem with there latest flash player install a security issue. The work around is do it the old fashion way. Use Ctrl key & c key for the copy function on the image addy. works every time. I have both accounts and use them both. But both on the free level. There are a lot of photo storing/sharing web sites. Be sure to read their policies on who owns the photo's after you post them and that you can remove them or delete them at a later date. Here is one that somebody sent me the addy http://www.piccdrop.com/ I know nothing about it. If you google photo storage/sharing sites you will get a ton. glen |

Cheers Glen, I'll try one as soon as possible. Regards, Paul |

I use pbase, a pay site. No ads or other hassles with linking. |

I use http://imageshack.us/ and have for quite a very long time. At this point (knock on wood) I have not had any issues nor loss of pictures.. nor need to purchase anything. Works well for me. /shrug. And its free. |
