If you can get to the wires behind the plug maybe you can just solder some extension leads and use alligator clips...

In order to provide the best advice to the op, battery chemistry and voltage are needed......if it's a Lipo and charged incorrectly, there's a risk of injury to user and heli..... :zap:

That's quite true,  I somehow jumped to a conclusion that it was just a little toy style.  The most important thing is the charger is the right type for the battery.

Need brand and model type, too. Many really small types used another set of dry cell alkaline batteries in the "charger" to charge the onboard batts. So there's absolutely no telling what the requirements are without more information.

But one thing is certain -- the wrong charger, wrong charge rate, or even wrong charge time with a substitute charger and yes the batteries can catch on fire or explode.

Almost all helicopters have onboard lipos, necessary for the charge density to lift without wings.

Looks like you need the product's "flight deck" to both charge the helicopter and control it. The flight deck takes batteries (which probably provide the charge)  and also plugs into the computer's earphone port in order to send it IR commands.

If you go here http://griffintechnology.com/sites/default/files/P5811-HeloTC-UserGuide-TS.pdf there's a manual which illustrates the lead - it needs charging from a USB port.

You could make the connections to a USB port - risking damaging the electronics if you get it wrong - or you could buy a lead.  Try ebay.
