Hej Keld,
have you already tried out your special traveling rest design? I could imagine that the wear surfaces top an back wear unequal and that it might be time consuming to bring them back to spec. In this case maybe carbide wear surfaces could be used. It would be nice it you report on the practical use of this design because it is just so nice.
