And where is this Finn from?

And more importantly where are you now? It might have huge impact on what tools and materials you can get.

Wellocome!

Finn:
hello Dear

Many thanks for warm welcome . Sorry for late reply . I spent many weeks in hospital  . Finn is just a nickname .I  live in Saraburi , 120 km north of Bangkok . I have zero backroung of model engineering , by the way I  have experience  in  minicnc for wood  milling but don' t have metal tool .
I made some small shipmodel  . I bought  steam engine plan from stuartmodels and  sent to make pattern then casting , so I know little about casting process . Last few months I  started to search  information of  steam loco . Big budget spent for my micro steamloco bookshelf some are uncle Kozo ( ( almost all ) ,G1MRA book 1-4 , ARMIG , DEE , The Project , Bryan Wilson , Perter Jones ,Martin Evan  , guage 1, 5,  3.5 , 7.5 plan mainly from Lilian , blowfly manual , Clishay , some books about boilermaking, track making , of course some was from free download.
Metal casting is my serious project for making engine part , trying hard to have small furnance for this mission .
Near my home has some steelshop and  technical vocation , brass and copper tube can find near China town . I am happy to join with this site

Finn

Hi Finn, if you get a chance, some pictures of your ship models would be great to see. Glad you're well now -- looking forward to your casting and loco building projects!
