I got a linisher for £10 from the scrapman 3 phase 3\4hp , pulled it apart and rewired the motor to single phase capasitor run had to cut the coils to convert from star to delta ,  put it back together to test takes a couple of seconds to get up speed , it has one noisy bearing and needs a belt and a switch but thats all and a good clean up .

You Suck! What a bargain, I have been after a decent linisher for some time, because the cheap or good rule applies to them! Decent ones seem to be around £200 (used) that is a good british machine. Enjoy it!

I wont be using for a while pulled apart again to clean it , if the weight is any mark of quality this weighs in at least 50 kilos .

Looks very well made, far better than modern ones so well worth restoring.
