Here is a fellow who could use a bit of support in his battle against governmental interference with his personal property rights. Note the following comment:  "If it's not listed it's prohibited." Drop the guy a line or visit his web site and let him know he's not all alone.

Guilty until proven innocent, funny I don't recall that being the case as written in the Constitution. Wonder if an Outhouse is specifically allowed within "zoning ordinance, section 9.1."

In any event it is at the ballot box ones displeasure can be expressed. Just need enough towns people to stand together and throw the undesirables out of Dodge.

Shall avoid the issues of liability, up to the property owner to keep his rear covered for the non-commercial activities

Done.

Come on lads, get on your bikes and let these official upstarts know that the model engineering world stands together, no matter what country you come from.

I have actually had a very nice email back from Robbie Diehl, including an official letter scan, and it looks like a female official has taken a bit of a dislike to him and what he is doing for the community, and is trying her utmost to force him to do as she says. That is, strip down the rail system (which he has to do or face a very hefty fine) and don't do anything until she says so, and most probably her answer will be 'NO' to allowing him to run it again.

This is all because he put a box out, for maybe a 1 dollar voluntary donation, if anyone wanted to help with the running of the engines. People would phone him up and he would get the engines into steam, to give them and the kids a ride, donation or not.

So it looks like this lady requires a bit of pressure applying, so she becomes a little more amiable and lot more helpful to the people she is supposed to be protecting with her 'red tape'.
