Cheers Lads

Made a start on the ash dump today ,plasma cut the parts from 6mm and 12 mm stainless . On my state of the art plasma table LOL .

And after a  bit of a clean up . Sorted !

Was that freehand Rob, or did you make a template? I rarely use my Plasma cutter as I make such a bosh of cutting to a line

That was all BobCam  Andrew  :)    I did cut a sheet metal template out just to save marking two out .

OK I'm confused (or so I'm often told  )

So you drew it in Bocad - do you have a CNC mill to cut it or what? My plasma torch needs quite an offset from the cut line due to the (??18mm) diameter of the torch, so how did you follow a template that appears to be true size?

(Or is the bottle of Merlot I'm drinking interfering with my thought processes  - it's certainly affecting the typing :ddb:  )

    I was taking the piss Andrew  BobCam = RobCam ,

I drew the profile out on a bit sheet metal , then drew round the sheet metal template  with chalk (twice) ,then followed the chalk lines with the plasma cutter free hand .
