Absolutely unbelievable.

There was a degree of naivety displayed when he signed the waiver in the first place, but I think in the UK the buyers solicitor would prevent him signing any such document, as would the mortgage company.

I'm not saying it couldn't happen here, but I think it's pretty unlikely
