Phill05:
Thanks for the warm welcome lads, The machine I rebuilt is an old Micromat I was told it "might" cut a PCB if I am lucky, like a red rag to a bull that was, new steppers, second hand screws & nuts, new controller running through Mach3 away she went been cutting Brass and Aluminum a treat. Now looking to replace the profile rails and screws. I also do test cuts in stone but is very messy so not to much of that. My day job is a designer in stone and make memorials, in spare time design and cut jewelry & clock parts. Currently building for work a cnc cutting and polishing machine, we have an old Chinese import that does the 2.1/2d profiling but it's getting worn. I'll start a new thread shortly to show how much is done and what information I am looking for re: controlling it. Phill |
