We will have the family here tonight Christmas Eve about 16 in all with the 4 grand kids ranging from 4 to 7yrs. Makes up for all the years I had to work Christmas Day usually away touring with a coach load of oldies. Weather ATM is cool overcast making it a comfortable evening. Similar predicted for tomorrow better than 40C trying to cook roasts etc. Have to relate a story. When we first had Christmas in Sydney prior I asked my dad how he was going to get in to deliver presents........NO chimney's just a small 4" round pipe stuck out the roof. I was worried he'd get stuck at the time I had no idea this tube is the breather of the sewerage pipes. Santa would have ended up right in the :bugeye: |
