Well, I'd better not let the wife see this.... (she's not small (5'10"), but shapely and blond... From Finland!)

OK she'll do, wrap her up and send her over with a Christmas Tree from the forest :ddb:

Kjelle:
Sorry Andrew, she's mine! You'll have to pry her from my cold, dead hands...No, that's not the right expression... Whatever, off to work!

Nobody has asked me what I wanted (sniff, tremble bottom lip :().
I left out a list for Santa a couple of months ago to give him time to make something for me. I left it pinned to the mantlepiece.
I want a couple of linear digital scales so that I can modify my mini lathe. I will then be able to easily see where the cross-slide is and not where the handle is. That leaves plenty of change for a bigger birthday pressie from Santa, who, as a concession, also deals with my birthday because it falls very close to Christmas.
My wife said that she would liaise with Santa, but I had to show her where that nice Mr. Chronos' shop is so that she could tell Santa how to get there (that's what she told me). After I showed her where it was, she had to go back inside to get her umbrella while I waited in the car. She is a scatter-brain 'cos it wasn't even raining!
