Began filing a cam profile with a coarse file. To give 110 degrees on inlet, I needed the minimum cam thickness to be 0.539" on the 0.713 blank. I got it to withn 2 thou with the coarse file, and then finished with a fine file. Then I drilled and tapped the boss for a 5-40 set screw. |
