Hi Eugenio,

Nice to see you have found us.  Pretty neat furnace you have there.

What is the home foundry scene like in Italy ?

Hope to see more of you here.

Dave.

salvarane:
Thanks DavidA for your nice comments, In Italy the Foundry  Backyerards isn't much diffused.
Thanks to passion Anglo American to promote this kind job through the internet, I and many other Italians can learn a work that in the past there was widespread in Italy, but unfortunately the big industry to made sure it vanishes. That's one of the reasons why I want to take this ancient knowledge and spread it as much as possible in my City : Perugia - Region : Umbria - Country : Italiy.

The furnace I built entirely alone, using refractory bricks, and a refractory clay mixed with silica sand that I left to mature for some months, for the fixing of refractory bricks.

Welcome aboard Salvarane

Great pictures of your foundry project, but perhaps TOO great  640 x 480 is a far better size for people to see what you are doing

salvarane:
Ok, sorry , the next images, I reduce to 640x480 Pixels

Thanks.
