Thanks DavidA for your nice comments, In Italy the Foundry Backyerards isn't much diffused. Thanks to passion Anglo American to promote this kind job through the internet, I and many other Italians can learn a work that in the past there was widespread in Italy, but unfortunately the big industry to made sure it vanishes. That's one of the reasons why I want to take this ancient knowledge and spread it as much as possible in my City : Perugia - Region : Umbria - Country : Italiy. The furnace I built entirely alone, using refractory bricks, and a refractory clay mixed with silica sand that I left to mature for some months, for the fixing of refractory bricks. |
