Separater for removing walnut tumbling material from brass

(1/1)

PTsideshow:
This will work for brass or any smaller items tumbled, I previous used two strainers. Which were hard to clip and keep the brass from falling out when they were flipped.

Two off them top to top

Cheap spring clamp one each handles, let you shake and flip with out loosing any brass.
I do it over an old plastic dish pan, to catch the media for reuse.

This is the old strainer and pan.
If you use walnut media, you may want to check out the lizard litter at the big box pet stores as it is cheaper than buying the walnut media for tumbling. Used dryer sheets will keep the dust down in the media, and one way to stretch the usefulness of a throw away product.
