Plasma cutter!

Hi all, just asking about Plasma cutters as the lad and i are thinking of getting one BUT::: so many on the market from £300 to the moon..
only needs to cut 12mm Max and that will be once in a blue moon..any help from users.

Doubleboost is a bit of a wiz with welding and cutting gear...
Have a look at his Youtube channel, where there's a demo he did on a plasma cutter....Quite entertaining...too :lol:

Hi Lyn, check out Doubleboosts review of the plasma cutter, I know he is very happy with it and it slices through 12mm neatly with ease, I think it goes up to 20mm.John goes through it all in his video.

just been on the phone to R-Tech welding, ordered a P50HF  :bugeye: plus bits.

You must use "dry" air
Make sure the earth is good
USE A PROPPER FACE SHIELD

Have got and use all of the above John, thanks for the reminder thou. :thumbup:
Got mine a bit cheaper as said shop soiled Re: paint damage....well the lad Paints cars
among other things and we can not find a mark on it...and it works very well, i saved an
old desiccator from the scrap before i retired thinking it would come in handy one day.
Stripped, cleaned, tested and put back together and now just awaiting a bracket to
fit to the trolley.
