Your caps are set in a nice plastic box, mine are just stuck on the outside with a bit of tin over the top...but yes, they are the same things. does it matter where the wires go as i can not see any I.D. on the contacts.

I don't know about the Caps, I just numbered the terminals 1-4 (two don't seem to be used) along with the corresponding wires. It's up and running now so that's a relief!

Yes and no
DC Capacitors have a polarity and it's important to get it right or they go bang
AC ones like you have here, no polarity on AC power

Good input 1-10. I've noticed the little plus and minus symbols on the small DC ones.

Note the voltage on a AC cap is quoted as the RMS vac and should be double the supply volts to be safe
To be padantic the peak is 1.4 times the RMS of your supply which is a RMS vac
