That's a handy weapon John! :bugeye: When the head's mushroomed....... Just re cast! :thumbup: I used a lead hammer, around that size, for the wire wheel nuts on my old MG. David D |

That's a nice new hammer! Now, my question is: What do you use it for? What is a lead hammer better at than a dead blow or brass hammer? |

A brass hammer will mar a piece of steel with a good finish. A dead blow will not do as good a job as a lead hammer in seating a part on parallels. I use both, but still prefer the lead hammer for certain jobs. |
