Rotary Table turns counter

Tried the fingers and toes trick but still lost my count. I thought there was possible an electrical solution but being more mechanically biased chose this path. Hi Stew yes! got windscreen wiper motor drives on vertical and horizontal drives and they are still going great guns.

Hi Mick that's a neat solution you have there....
Can we have a look at your mill then please...... :ddb: :ddb: :ddb:
mickn:
Hi Darren,
The milling machine is a Chester 20 v and I have already posted the YouTube vid showing the windscreen wiper motor drives on the horizontal and vertical planes. They are powered by one old PSU out of my computer. Its on the home base --introductions--page 2-- New Boy On The Block. It was posted in January. The vertical slide is especially helpful as its a right old pain winding by hand.Word of warning though! make sure the slide clamps are off I have also incorporated a small brass shear pin in the coupling which will hopefully do its job if called upon.
cheers Mick
