While working on the mod's to the kids smoker had to do some edge to edge cutting of 1/8" sheet. Using the 8 foot aluminum yard stick takes two people to get it set up. While I was picking up HF version of the adjustable C welding clamp yesterday I came across the above. So with my trusting 25% off coupon photo on my phone I picked up one. For thin stock it will require something to keep the pads from sliding past the edge of the metal. Has a very nice edge for cutting the width of sheets. And they come in a 24" length, so you can use one in the shop and not have 30" hanging off the edge.
