Horrendous storm here on Saturday arvo, hailstones the size of elephants, damage to the roof water leaking through the loungeroom ceiling.
Ceiling bulging about to fall down, lounge suite, laptop, tv all ruined  :(
but the workshop roof held up so the lathe and mill and tools are all OK.  :D

No pics of the hailstones too busy mopping up, just a couple I took for the insurance co.
Thats the ceiling not the floor.

Forgot to add the stones blocked the roof gutters so the water took the easiest route down
through the ceiling

The hailstones were only the size of smallish hippos here, guess we got off light. Nice drop of rain tho'.

Yeah we got plenty of rain and some flooding here in Bendigo, but that was about the worst of it. I'm pretty safe as in a higher part of town. No water leaks either so am happy.

My uncle went to Flemington races and got stuck in Footscray as Southern Cross (big Melb train station) was closed.  No trains/trams going.  Old boy drove down to get him.
From an early age my father taught me to wear welding gloves . "Its not to protect your hands son, its to put out the fire when u set yourself alight".

Sorry you had to go through that.
I hope insurance covers you right and gets you on your way to rebuilding.
