How are Rope knurls made?
« on: December 12, 2010, 12:30:29 PM »
I've been doing some research on this. There isn't a lot of information available. I think I have a project that will warrant making some fancy knurls. So I've decided to start a post that will be a kind of how-to. So if anyone has info on these please share.

Frank Ford has a great website with some super information in it. A page on how he makes a Rope Knurl is very interesting. I have only made a couple of cutters before so this will be fun!

Stay tuned...

I've not made any rope knurls yet - but there was some discussion here on this very board a few weeks ago ...
